DWDD AFP Civil Relations Service Radio Website (Oct 20): TERRORIST DWINDLING | 3 ASG members Surrenders
BRGY MACALANG, (DWDD) – Three (3) members of the bandit/terror group Abu Sayyaf voluntarily surrendered to the troops of the 74th Infantry Battalion, 2nd Infantry Division, under LTC Jonas Templo operating under the Joint Task Force Basilan.
The surrenderees were identified as Ben Salina Sapilin alias Ben (cousin of Isnilon Hapilon); Rami Ben Sapillin alias Attik, and Muhamad Endeng alias Aburayhad.
They also surrendered three (3) firearms: 1 M16 Rifle, 1 M79 Grenade Launchers, and 1 Cal 30 M1 Garand. JTFBasilan/MCAG
