From the Manila Bulletin (Jul 21): 2 Maute suspects arrested, charged
Two more suspected members of the Maute terrorist group have been arrested and charged with rebellion.
Department of Justice (DOJ) Undersecretary Erickson Balmes identified the two members of the terrorist group as Araji Samindih and Umad Harun.
Balmes indicated the two were “arrested in Tawi Tawi in possession of explosives and were actually involved in the firefights in Marawi.”
He said the two suspected terrorists were taken and subjected to inquest proceedings Thursday afternoon in Cagayan de Oro City.
