NOLCOM constantly patrolling Benham Rise

From the Philippine News Agency (May 15): NOLCOM constantly patrolling Benham Rise

All available air and naval assets of the Tarlac-based Northern Luzon Command (NOLCOM) are being used to constantly patrol the resource-rich Benham Rise which lies off the Aurora and Isabela.

This was disclosed by NOLCOM head Lt. Gen. Romeo Tanalgo during the sidelines of the "Balikatan" exercises in Casiguran town Monday.

In the said activity, US and Philippine naval and assets performed drills aimed at relieving typhoon-devastated Barangay Dibacong.

"We continuously patrol Benham Rise by air, surface (assets), everything we got as as NOLCOM is concerned," he added.

He added that there are no sightings of any Chinese ships so far and stressed that NOLCOM will conduct a big event in the area by June.
