From the Sun Star-Cebu (Apr 15): Abu Sayyaf seek refuge in Lumboy, Inabanga

RESIDENTS of Barangay Lumboy in Inabanga, Bohol were evacuated after reports that members of the Abu Sayyaf Group sought refuge inside their houses.

A resident said that when he returned at 9 p.m. Friday, April 14, he saw a lot of blood on the wooden bench in his backyard.

"Daghan kaayog dugo. Makapuno og usa ka baso (There was a lot of blood. About a glassful," he told SunStar Cebu.

Authorities, meanwhile, continue to distribute relief goods to families displaced by the fighting in Bohol.

The clash between government forces and Abu Sayyaf last April 11 resulted in the killing of five bandits, one policeman, and three soldiers.
