From the Philippine News Agency (Feb 8): Woman hurt as fire hits NOLCOM HQs in Tarlac
The wife of a military officer was wounded after a still unknown explosion and subsequent fire hit the Northern Luzon Command (NOLCOM) headquarters in Camp Servillano Aquino in Tarlac City Tuesday night.
Initial reports identified the victim as a certain Mrs. Bohol. The woman was hurt after being hit by an unknown object, an initial probe conducted by Technical Sgt. Romito Orbigo said.
It also said that fire broke out at Building 2 of the Ammo Company, Enlisted Personnel Barracks Building around 6 p.m.
The victim was immediately rushed to the NOLCOM hospital while the fire was eventually extinguished at midnight on Wednesday.
Investigations are still ongoing to determine the exact cause of the blast.
