The country’s ‘grandest’, state-of-the-art, bulletproof police headquarters was formally inaugurated today at Tunasan, Muntinlupa City. The said police building is Muntinlupa City Police Headquarters. Philippine National Police-National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) chief Police Director Oscar Albayalde and Southern Police District chief Police Director Tomas Apolinario attended the event.
“Sa loob ng aking 34 years in service ngayon lamang ako nakakita ng “State of the art” na Police Headquarters tulad ng sa Muntinlupa. Sana ay maging modelo ito sa buong bansa,” Police Director Albayalde said. Albayalde thanked Mayor Jaime R. Fresnedi.
The Muntinlupa police describes the structure as “the grandest police station in the country.” Moreover, the structure’s windows are bulletproof.
“Ang 4-storey (with roofdeck) na PNP-HQ Muntinlupa, ay mayroong 51 CCTV camera- with command center, fully ventilated detention cell para sa lalaki at babae,na mayroong 25 double deck na kama, mayroong roofdeck na may barracks at para sa recreational activity/gym para sa mga pulis.
Bukod dito, ang air-conditioning units ay mayroong inverters,rain water collector units,at ang ilaw ay Led lights lahat,” the city government said.
