From the Philippine Information Agency (Dec 29): U.S. Ambassador donates sports equipment
It was a Merry Christmas indeed to young sports enthusiasts as United States Ambassador to the Philippines, Ambassador Sung Kim, recently visited the members of the Little League Philippines.
Ambassador Kim visited the Field of Dreams in Smokey Mountain, Manila last December 21. The Ambassador also threw the first pitch to mark the start of a game with 50 boys and girls, aged 9-12.
The Ambassador donated baseball/softball clothing and equipment from the U.S. Embassy provided by the International School of Manila’s American Culture Club.
