Some 15 members of the 1st Field Artillery (Beat ‘Em) Battalion, Army Artillery Regiment, Philippine Army underwent intensive training on Stakeholders’ engagement at Camp Major Cesar Sang-an, Pulacan, this municipality  on Nov. 15-24.

He said during the 10-day training, participants were taught how to engage and interact with key stakeholders to help win the hearts and minds of the Filipino people.

“With the participants’ interaction to the different key stakeholders, we will certainly win the peace,” the army official said.

The soldiers underwent immersion in adopted barangays  by offering their services and support in all activities such as tree planting, feeding and Medical and Dental Civic Action Program (MEDCAP) services, among others.

Participants also conducted clean-up drive in Tawagan Norte Barangay Hall and Tawagan Norte National High School with the help of barangay officials, teachers and students.

Meanwhile, Ares encouraged the participants to apply the theories and concepts they learned from their instructors to contribute in the attainment of peace in our country.
