From the Philippine News Agency (Oct 10): PA to acquire 60,150 packs of MREs
The Philippine Army (PA) is allocating the sum of PHP12,030,000 for the acquisition of 60,150 MREs (meals-ready to eat) for its troops in patrol and security duty.
MREs are self-contained, individual field ration in lightweight packaging and issued to troopers as alternative to fresh food which requires cooking.
Pre-bid opening is scheduled for Oct. 18, 9:00 a.m. at the PA Bids and Awards Committee Secretariat, Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City.
While receipt and opening of bid envelops is on Nov. 3, 9:00 a.m. at the same venue.
